different“不同的”。普通用詞。指兩者在細(xì)節(jié)上有部分或全部不相似。
1）Different jewellery offers avery different expression ofidentity.
不同的首飾顯示非常不同的身份表達(dá)。
2）Manners arequitedifferentfromcountry to country.
各國(guó)的禮儀各不相同。

distinct“不同的”、“截然不同的”。指兩事物在本質(zhì)上有明顯的差異或區(qū)
別，語氣比 different 強(qiáng)。強(qiáng)調(diào)各自有獨(dú)特的地方，因而有明顯的不同之處。
