effort用法注意3表示“作出努力”，通常 make an effort 這樣的形式，該結(jié)構(gòu)中的不定冠詞(an)也可根據(jù)情況換成 another,every, one more, no 等限定詞，但不能沒有限定詞。
如： He decided to make one more effort. 他決定再作一次努力。
Every effort was made, but to no avail.做了一切努力，但沒有用。
She made every effort to be a good student.她努力要做個好學生。
The team made a concerted effort to win the game.隊員們同心協(xié)力來打贏這場球。 【注】若沒有限定詞，effort 就應(yīng)用復(fù)數(shù)。如The prisoner made efforts toescape, but he failed. 那個犯人企圖越獄，但沒有成功。
