2013年10月28日16：00-17:30，由中國(guó)國(guó)際和平研究中心主辦的第四屆孔子和平獎(jiǎng)、首屆孔子藝術(shù)獎(jiǎng)評(píng)選揭曉新聞發(fā)布會(huì)，在北京大學(xué)博雅國(guó)際酒店隆重舉行。

2013年第四屆孔子和平獎(jiǎng)共有12位候選人和1家入圍機(jī)構(gòu)上海合作組織，分別是：上海合作組織、聯(lián)合國(guó)秘書(shū)長(zhǎng)潘基文、北京大學(xué)教授湯一介、中國(guó)佛教協(xié)會(huì)名譽(yù)會(huì)長(zhǎng)一誠(chéng)法師、第十一世班禪喇嘛、中國(guó)作家金庸、美國(guó)微軟創(chuàng)始人比爾·蓋茨、北京大學(xué)教授徐光憲、泰國(guó)總理英拉·西那瓦、北京大學(xué)教授李零、中國(guó)社會(huì)活動(dòng)家王定國(guó)、德國(guó)總理安格爾·默克爾、韓國(guó)總統(tǒng)樸槿惠。

根據(jù)第四屆孔子和平獎(jiǎng)評(píng)審委員會(huì)29位評(píng)委民主投票結(jié)果，原中國(guó)佛教協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)長(zhǎng)一誠(chéng)法師獲得11票，獲得2013年第四屆孔子和平獎(jiǎng)。一誠(chéng)法師的獲獎(jiǎng)理由如下：“鑒于一誠(chéng)法師在擔(dān)任中國(guó)佛教協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)長(zhǎng)期間，為中國(guó)佛教的改革與發(fā)展做出了卓越的貢獻(xiàn)，使該機(jī)構(gòu)煥發(fā)了新的生機(jī)與活力；尤其是他在2008年12月當(dāng)選中國(guó)佛教協(xié)會(huì)名譽(yù)會(huì)長(zhǎng)迄今，在世界各地弘法利生，悲智雙運(yùn)，為當(dāng)今世界的和平事業(yè)奉獻(xiàn)了非凡智慧，從而為21世紀(jì)人類(lèi)和平史樹(shù)立了一座永恒的豐碑，特此頒發(fā)2013年第四屆孔子和平獎(jiǎng)?！?/p>

中國(guó)國(guó)際和平研究中心于2011年10月在中國(guó)香港特區(qū)政府注冊(cè)成立，是一個(gè)純粹的民間學(xué)術(shù)機(jī)構(gòu)，由它主辦的孔子和平獎(jiǎng)將始終堅(jiān)持民間性、學(xué)術(shù)性、世界性。首屆孔子和平獎(jiǎng)是2010年12月由中國(guó)大陸民間組織設(shè)立，首屆獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)由臺(tái)灣地區(qū)的國(guó)民黨榮譽(yù)主席連戰(zhàn)獲得，第二屆由時(shí)任俄羅斯總理普京獲得，第三屆由中國(guó)科學(xué)家袁隆平和聯(lián)合國(guó)前秘書(shū)長(zhǎng)科菲·安南同時(shí)獲得，當(dāng)時(shí)成為眾多媒體關(guān)注和大眾熱議的焦點(diǎn)話(huà)題。

孔子和平獎(jiǎng)的宗旨是弘揚(yáng)孔子“和為貴”的思想理念，維護(hù)聯(lián)合國(guó)憲章，踐行中國(guó)政府提出的建設(shè)和諧社會(huì)的偉大構(gòu)想，為人類(lèi)社會(huì)的和平發(fā)展、繁榮做出貢獻(xiàn)。該獎(jiǎng)的設(shè)立，力求充分反映當(dāng)今人類(lèi)的和平觀，盡可能表達(dá)當(dāng)今人類(lèi)關(guān)于和平本質(zhì)的普世認(rèn)同。主要頒給為當(dāng)今人類(lèi)的和平事業(yè)做出杰出貢獻(xiàn)的人士，包括思想家、政治家、科學(xué)家、文學(xué)家、藝術(shù)家、社會(huì)活動(dòng)家等?！　　?/p>

第四屆孔子和平獎(jiǎng)將給獲獎(jiǎng)?wù)咭蛔鹂鬃渝兘鸾鹣?，獲獎(jiǎng)證書(shū)和獎(jiǎng)金。并于今年12月9日在北京隆重舉行頒獎(jiǎng)典禮。

附錄一：一誠(chéng)法師簡(jiǎn)介

一誠(chéng)法師，生于1927年2月，湖南望城人，俗姓周，名云生。1948年投奔湖南長(zhǎng)沙縣黃金園鄉(xiāng)洗心庵，禮明心為師，剃度出家，承臨濟(jì)宗派，法號(hào)一誠(chéng)，字悟圓。1956年冬由虛云老和尚親任得戒和尚，受具足戒。1957年，在虛云法師的主持下，得溈仰、臨濟(jì)法脈。1985年，榮膺真如禪寺方丈，重興祖庭。一誠(chéng)長(zhǎng)老歷任中國(guó)佛教協(xié)會(huì)名譽(yù)會(huì)長(zhǎng)、北京法源寺方丈、江西寶峰禪寺方丈、亞宗和主席。一誠(chéng)法師愛(ài)國(guó)愛(ài)教，道風(fēng)好，佛學(xué)造詣?shì)^高，在佛教界有相當(dāng)高的威望。現(xiàn)為中國(guó)禪藝書(shū)法家協(xié)會(huì)榮譽(yù)主席，中國(guó)佛教協(xié)會(huì)名譽(yù)會(huì)長(zhǎng)。

附錄二：孔子和平獎(jiǎng)及其評(píng)獎(jiǎng)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)

孔子和平獎(jiǎng)創(chuàng)立于2010年，旨在闡釋和宣揚(yáng)中國(guó)人的和平觀。首屆孔子和平獎(jiǎng)的主辦單位是中國(guó)鄉(xiāng)土藝術(shù)傳統(tǒng)文化保護(hù)部。首屆得主為中國(guó)國(guó)民黨榮譽(yù)主席連戰(zhàn)先生。2011年第二屆孔子和平獎(jiǎng)由中國(guó)國(guó)際和平研究中心主辦，得主為當(dāng)時(shí)的俄羅斯總理、現(xiàn)任俄羅斯總統(tǒng)普京先生。2012年第三屆孔子和平獎(jiǎng)為聯(lián)合國(guó)前秘書(shū)長(zhǎng)科菲·安南和中國(guó)科學(xué)家袁隆平先生。中國(guó)國(guó)際和平研究中心于2011年10月在中國(guó)香港特區(qū)政府注冊(cè)成立，是一家純粹的民間學(xué)術(shù)機(jī)構(gòu)，主要職能是研究人類(lèi)和平思想史、當(dāng)前國(guó)際和平局勢(shì)，以及開(kāi)展與和平相關(guān)的評(píng)獎(jiǎng)活動(dòng)。2012年6月，該中心創(chuàng)辦了大型學(xué)術(shù)性刊物《和平》雜志，為雙月刊，主要傳播從古到今的所有和平思想。并創(chuàng)建了自己的網(wǎng)站：www.kongzipeace.com。首屆孔子和平獎(jiǎng)評(píng)委會(huì)由5人組成，第二屆孔子和平獎(jiǎng)評(píng)委員由16人組成，第三屆孔子和平獎(jiǎng)評(píng)審委員會(huì)由39人組成，第四屆孔子和平獎(jiǎng)評(píng)審委員會(huì)由29人組成?？鬃雍推姜?jiǎng)的宗旨是和為貴。頒獎(jiǎng)日期為每年的12月9日，頒獎(jiǎng)地點(diǎn)為中國(guó)首都.北京孔子和平獎(jiǎng)將始終堅(jiān)持：民間性，學(xué)術(shù)性，世界性。

The winners of the Fourth Confucius Peace Prizeand the First Confucius Art Prize awarded by the ChinaInternational Peace Research Center will be announced at a pressconference held at the Lakeview Hotel in Beijing on October28^th, 2013 at 16:00-17:30.

Among the nominees of the 2013 Fourth ConfuciusPeace Prize there are 12 people and one organization, including:Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Secretary General of theUnited Nations Ban Ki-moon, Professor of Peking University TangYijie, Honorary President of Buddhist Association of China MasterYicheng, the eleventh Panchen Lama, Chinese writer Jin Yong,founder of Microsoft Bill Gates, Professor of Peking University XuGuangxian, the Prime Minister of Thailand Yingluck Shinawatra,Professor of Peking University Li Ling, Chinese social activistWang Dingguo, the Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, the SouthKorea President Park Geun-hye.

According to the 29 members of the FourthConfucius Peace Prizecommittee voting results, former president of the Buddhist Association ofChina Master Yicheng obtained 11 votes, and is awarded the 2013Fourth Confucius Peace Prize. The reasons he received the award areas follows: “Considering the fact that during the time MasterYicheng served as the President of the Buddhist Association ofChina, he has made outstanding contributions to the reform anddevelopment of Chinese Buddhismwhich enable the institution toflourish, ever since he was elected honorary president ofthe Buddhist Association of China in December 2008, he has beenputting much effort on popularizing Buddhism around the world,serving humanity, showing compassion to all living beings andpromoting peace around the world. He is hereby awarded the 2013Fourth Confucius Peace Prize.”

China International Peace Research Center wasincorporated in October 2011 in Hong Kong SAR. It is a purelyprivate academic institution. The Confucius Peace Price organizedby China International Peace Research Center will always stayindependent from government influence, academically oriented andglobal. The First Confucius Peace Prize was established by mainlandChinese civil organization in December 2011, it was awarded toTaiwanese Honorary Chairman of the Kuomintang. The Second ConfuciusPeace Prize was awarded to the Russian President V.Putin. The Thirdone was shared by Chinese scientist Yuan Longping and the former UNSecretary-General Kofi Annan. At that time it received a lot of themedia attention and become the hot topic of publicdebate.

The Confucius Peace Prize aims to promoteConfucius "Heweigui" (“harmony and peace are most precious”)ideas, to uphold the Charter of the United Nations,implement the great concept of building a harmonious societypromoted by Chinese government, to contribute to the peacefuldevelopment and prosperity of the human society. With theestablishment of this prize, we strive to fully reflect the view ofthe modern society on peace, and express universal agreement of themodern mankind on the nature of peace. It is primarily awarded tothe outstanding contributors to the cause of peace, includingphilosophers, politicians, scientists, writers, artists, socialactivists, etc.

The winner of the Fourth Confucius Peace Prizewill receive a golden statue of Confucius, a certificate and a cashprize, which will be awarded at a ceremony on the December9^th, 2013 in Beijing.

DharmaMaster Yi Cheng

MasterYicheng, born in February 1927, native of Wangcheng, HunanProvince. Secular name Zhou Yunsheng. In 1948 he sought refuge inXixin Temple in Huangjinyuan village, Changsha, Hunan Province,with Li Mingxin as his master and took the tonsure. He became afollower of Lin Ji (Rinzai) school of Buddism and took religiousname Yicheng Wuyuan. In winter 1956, master Xu Yun transmitted tohim the complete Buddhist monastic Precepts. In 1957, with masterXu Yun’s support he wastransmitted Wei Yang Ch’anand Lin Ji Dharma. In 1985, he received the honor of being promotedto the post of abbot responsible for the Zhen Ru Temple. In past heheld positions such as the President of the Buddhist Association ofChina, Vice President of the Buddhist Association of China,President of Buddhist Association of Jiangxi Province. Master YiCheng vigorously supports his country and is deeply devoted to hisreligion, practices high moral standards. He has great achievementsin studies of Buddhism, and relatively high prestige in Buddhistworld. At the moment he is serving as an Honorable Chairman of theChinese Buddhist Art Calligrapher's Association and HonoraryPresident of Buddhist Association of China.

Confucius Peace Prize wasestablished in 2010, its aim is toexplain and disseminate the Chinese nation’s concept of peace. Thefirst annual Confucius Peace Prize was supportedby the Chinese departmentof protection local art traditions and culture. The FirstConfucius Peace Prize was granted to Lian Zhan (Lien Chan),honorary chairman of the Taiwan-based Kuomintang.The second annual Confucius PeacePrize was held by China International Peace Research Center in 2011and was granted to Vladimir Putin, at that time the Prime Ministerof Russia, at present the president of Russian Federation. TheThird Confucius Peace Prize was held by China International PeaceResearch Center in 2012 and was awarded to Mr. YuanLongping ，the Chinesescientist and Mr. Kofi Atta Annan, the former Secretary-General ofUnited Nations.China International Peace Research Center was registered andestablished by Hong Kong SAR Government in October 2011, it is asocial academic organization, the main functions are researchingthe human history of study the concept of peace and theinternational peace situation, and supporting peace-related awards.In June 2012 the Center founded the major academic publication –“Peace” magazine, it is bimonthly publication, mainly disseminatedthe different concepts of peace, which were created from ancienttimes till now.
