There is a naughty boy in a village. He likes telling lies. One day he wants to make fun of the farmers. So he shouts, “Wolf! Wolf! Wolf is coming!” The kind farmers are working in the field. They hear the shout, and hurry to help the boy. But when get there, the boy says: “There isn’t a wolf. I’m joking. The farers are angry and go back to their field. After a while the biy shouts again, “Wolf! Wolf! Wolf is coming!” And the farmers come and are cheated again. The boy laughs and laughs. They say, “You tell lies. We will not believe you.”

Scene One: farmers working in the field (第一場：三個(gè)農(nóng)民在地里勞動(dòng))

1、音樂起，三個(gè)農(nóng)民邊唱邊跳出場歌詞：We are farmers, we are farmers, happy happy happy!

2、三個(gè)農(nóng)民在地里勞動(dòng)

Farmer A: Let’s have a rest, OK?

Farmer B C：OK!(農(nóng)民下)

Scene Two: A boy is shepherding ( 第二場：一個(gè)小孩在放牧)

(男孩上，趕著一群羊， 然后走到樹下休息)

Boy: (揮舞著他手中的鞭子)Hmn, I feel very humdrum. There is nobody here to talk with me. How humdrum!(嗯，太無聊了。這兒一個(gè)說話的人也沒有。真沒意思!)

Sheep: Baa…(咩咩……)

The Boy Who Cried Wolf

狼來了

A shepherd-boy, who watched a flock of sheep near a village, brought out the villagers three or four times by crying out, "Wolf! Wolf!" and when his neighbors came to help him, laughed at them for their pains。

一個(gè)牧童，在一個(gè)村子的邊上放羊，他三番四次地喊“狼來了”，村民聽到后都跑出來幫他，但其實(shí)狼并沒有來，牧童只是拿他們來開玩笑。

The Wolf, however, did truly come at last. The Shepherd-boy, now really alarmed, shouted in an agony of terror: "Pray, do come and help me; the Wolf is killing the sheep"; but no one paid any heed to his cries, nor rendered any assistance. The Wolf, having no cause of fear, at his leisure lacerated or destroyed the whole flock。
