美國(guó)哥大一中國(guó)留學(xué)生因躲避搶劫不幸遇車(chē)禍身亡

中新社紐約四月五日電(鄧悅)美國(guó)紐約哥倫比亞大學(xué)二十四歲的中國(guó)留學(xué)生于明輝四日晚在校區(qū)附近因躲避搶劫而不幸遭遇車(chē)禍，送醫(yī)院后于當(dāng)晚?yè)尵葻o(wú)效而身亡。

　　五日下午，哥倫比亞大學(xué)中國(guó)學(xué)生學(xué)者聯(lián)誼會(huì)的眾多成員以及于明輝生前的同學(xué)好友自發(fā)聚集在于明輝所住的公寓外，并舉行了簡(jiǎn)短的悼念活動(dòng)。

　　哥大校方已在第一時(shí)間通過(guò)電子郵件向校內(nèi)師生通告了此事，并對(duì)于明輝的不幸去世表示哀悼。同時(shí)中國(guó)駐紐約總領(lǐng)事館也已獲知此事，并已聯(lián)系上于明輝在山東濰坊的家人。目前在協(xié)助于明輝的父母辦理簽證手續(xù)，盡快赴美處理相關(guān)后事。

　　據(jù)警方報(bào)告稱(chēng)，四月四日晚八點(diǎn)五十分左右，在哥大附近的百老匯大道和西一百二十二街交口處，兩名非洲裔男子企圖搶劫于明輝。于明輝在試圖擺脫劫匪糾纏時(shí)被一輛當(dāng)時(shí)向南急駛的汽車(chē)撞上。隨后他被送往醫(yī)院進(jìn)行搶救，數(shù)小時(shí)后被院方宣布不治身亡。目前紐約警方正在通過(guò)監(jiān)視錄像全力通緝?cè)噲D搶劫并逃逸的兩名非洲裔少年嫌犯。

　　據(jù)哥大中國(guó)學(xué)生學(xué)者聯(lián)誼會(huì)負(fù)責(zé)人介紹，于明輝是該校統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)在讀的博士生，于二OO六年畢業(yè)于中國(guó)科技大學(xué)少年班，當(dāng)年秋天到哥大就讀。他曾擔(dān)任哥大學(xué)生會(huì)外聯(lián)部部長(zhǎng)的職務(wù)。熟悉于明輝的多位好友和同學(xué)稱(chēng)于明輝在校成績(jī)優(yōu)異，并樂(lè)于助人。他們對(duì)于明輝的死訊感到悲痛和惋惜。

Dear Members of the Columbia Community:

I am writing to share very sad news about one of our graduatestudents.

Last night a PhD student in the Graduate School of Arts andSciences, Minghui Yu, was struck by an automobile two blocks northof our main campus at 122nd Street and Broadway while he wasapparently fleeing an attempted robbery on the sidewalk. Thestudent was taken to St. Luke's Hospital but passed away as aresult of the severe injuries he had sustained.

An NYPD investigation is underway and is being supported by theUniversity's Department of Public Safety which, last nightfollowing university procedures, circulated an alert to studentaffairs deans at all of our schools with information about possiblesuspects in the attempted robbery.

As a community we mourn the loss of one of our members, andespecially of a young person with much to look forward to in a lifeof promise. The University's counseling services are available toanyone who feels he or she could benefit from expert support inresponse to this deeply sad event. Grad Student Fleeing Mugging Killed by Car

Minghui Yu, a student in the Graduate School of Arts andSciences, was hit by a car after fleeing an attempted muggingFriday night and subsequently died at St. Luke's Hospital.

According to the New York Police Department, the 24-year-oldwas struck by an SUV on the west side of Broadway between 121st and122nd streets at around 8:50 p.m. Friday night, andwas suspected by responding officers to have been the victim of arobbery.

Yu was taken from the scene in critical condition by emergencymedical services to St. Luke's Hospital, where he died from severehead trauma, police and public safety officials said.

"It's very sad," Associate Vice President for Public SafetyJames McShane said. The Department of Public Safety circulated asecurity alert with surveillance photos of the two suspects toUniversity administrators Friday night.

The victim's assailants, described as two black males, fled thescene after "attempt[ing] to remove property from the victim byforce" and are still at large, a police report said. The driver ofthe vehicle stopped immediately after hitting Yu, and police saidno criminality is suspected of the driver.

"I heard a thud. I came to the gate, looked across the street,saw a commotion ... I saw the guy laying there." John Stathus, whosaid he witnessed the incident, said at the scene Fridaynight.

Police kept Broadway from 120th to 122nd streets cornered offthrough early Saturday morning. A pair of sneakers and a bag werevisible in the road on 122nd street Friday night, and somewitnesses said they saw pools of blood on the road.

"While incidents of crime have been significantly reduced inNew York over recent decades, and the area of Morningside Heightsis within one of the safest precincts in the city, it isnevertheless imperative that we all take reasonable precautionsappropriate to life in a large metropolitan environment,"University President Lee Bollinger wrote in a University-widee-mail Saturday morning.

Yu was a PhD candidate in statistics at GSAS and a statisticsteaching fellow. A native of China and a graduate of the Universityof Science and Technology of China, Yu was a Department Chair forthe Columbia University Chinese Students and ScholarsAssociation.

"Loving painting as a kid, Minghui always dreamed of turninginto an artist, but he would never imagine studying on a sciencemajor in the college then years later," Yu's biography on the CUSSAWeb site said.

"As a community we mourn the loss of one of our members, andespecially of a young person with much to look forward to in a lifeof promise," Bollinger said, adding that the University'sCounseling and Psychological Services would be available today forstudents who wish for "expert support in response to this deeplysad event."

我是于明輝的高中同學(xué)。我不是科大的，但我mm是科大的。我們都是他的朋友，聽(tīng)到他

昨晚兩點(diǎn)多，臭打電話(huà)給我，“于明輝出事了，他在紐約街區(qū)遭遇黑人搶劫，

那個(gè)...”我連問(wèn)怎么了，臭卻一直說(shuō)“那個(gè)...”我問(wèn)，是不是受傷了，臭說(shuō)不是。頓

時(shí)，我心里一緊，我問(wèn)，“他沒(méi)了么？”臭嗯了一聲。然后說(shuō)也只是聽(tīng)說(shuō)，可能不是，

還要上網(wǎng)看一下確認(rèn)這個(gè)消息?？墒菐酌腌姾?，google搜到的新聞讓我愣住了。

到現(xiàn)在，已經(jīng)快一天了。每當(dāng)一個(gè)人安靜下來(lái)時(shí)，看到網(wǎng)絡(luò)上的消息，看到你照片上那

帶著些狡黠的笑容，我卻還是不能平靜，不愿意相信這樣的事情竟然發(fā)生在了你身上。

我努力的想，卻也記不清我們最早是怎樣認(rèn)識(shí)的了?，F(xiàn)在回想起來(lái)，一切都那么自然，

仿佛你一直就在我的生活中。高中三年，一班和二班，同樣的老師給我們上課，參加物

理小組，課間的討論，或許最早，我們就是這樣認(rèn)識(shí)的吧。似乎記得高一第一次期中考

試之后，YYQ年級(jí)第一，好像遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)甩下我們四五十分。我們聚在一起，開(kāi)著玩笑咬牙切

齒的聲討這個(gè)沒(méi)人性的“牲口”，我們贊嘆的口氣中，其實(shí)都透著一樣的不服氣。后來(lái)

，大家熟了，又都在自力更生的做競(jìng)賽題。無(wú)數(shù)個(gè)課間，我跑到你們教室后門(mén)喊一聲，

或者你在門(mén)口叫聲小刁——幾乎所有人都叫我老刁，唯有你一直這樣叫——幾個(gè)人就拿

著鉛筆捏著幾張草稿紙跑到走廊里，面紅耳赤的討論這個(gè)題怎么做，或者吹捧誰(shuí)的某個(gè)

方法多么帥。有時(shí)候，為了在某個(gè)問(wèn)題上說(shuō)服李老師，我還要通過(guò)你曲線(xiàn)救國(guó)，因?yàn)榇?/h3>

家都知道李老師最疼你，拿你像兒子一樣，也最聽(tīng)得進(jìn)你的話(huà)。那時(shí)候，你常穿著藍(lán)色

校服襯衫，晃晃的走，然后咂咂嘴巴的樣子，我至今也還記得。

高二我們幾個(gè)人一起去山大參加物理競(jìng)賽的復(fù)賽，車(chē)上你抱著隨身聽(tīng)聽(tīng)英文歌，大家胡

吹海聊，那時(shí)我才知道，你喜歡聽(tīng)英文歌，還癡迷于畫(huà)畫(huà)，而不是我以前認(rèn)為的是個(gè)書(shū)

呆子。那時(shí)我大概是剛放棄了林憶蓮開(kāi)始癡迷孫燕姿，你試圖啟發(fā)我對(duì)英文歌的熱情，

卻失敗的發(fā)現(xiàn)這方面我實(shí)在不是個(gè)知音——我連歌詞都聽(tīng)不懂也不想聽(tīng)懂。然后競(jìng)賽那

幾天吃飯的時(shí)候，你們都喜歡上了我媽給我?guī)У尼u肉。以至于若干家長(zhǎng)紛紛來(lái)詢(xún)問(wèn)配方

，最后請(qǐng)你們來(lái)我家大吃了一頓。那時(shí)我們都輕松，快樂(lè)，無(wú)憂(yōu)無(wú)慮，心比天高。

轉(zhuǎn)眼就是高三，物理競(jìng)賽，你我都失利了，我們懷著最大的希望，付出了努力，卻連高

二考的成績(jī)都沒(méi)有達(dá)到。我痛哭一場(chǎng)，就失意的回了學(xué)校，而你作為我們幾個(gè)人里面公

認(rèn)物理最好的，被李老師要求留在濟(jì)南幫助進(jìn)入決賽的幾個(gè)哥們準(zhǔn)備實(shí)驗(yàn)部分。后來(lái)聽(tīng)

說(shuō)，當(dāng)他們進(jìn)入決賽考場(chǎng)之后，你才開(kāi)始在李老師面前痛哭。明輝，你真是好樣的。

競(jìng)賽過(guò)后，黑色的高三真正開(kāi)始了。以前常常混在一起的一群人，大都已經(jīng)通過(guò)競(jìng)賽獲

得了保送，只剩下我們倆還在高考第一線(xiàn)熬。高考前幾周的一天晚自習(xí)，我們坐在教學(xué)

樓前的花壇邊閑聊，開(kāi)始時(shí)你問(wèn)我怎么要怎么應(yīng)付高考的八股文作文，慢慢一直談到你

對(duì)繪畫(huà)的熱愛(ài)，談到我們對(duì)即將到來(lái)的選擇的迷茫，談到對(duì)自己狀態(tài)的擔(dān)心。最后我們

的結(jié)論是，算了，緊張個(gè)P,老子大不了上山大嘛。哎，那天夜風(fēng)吹過(guò)臉龐的感覺(jué)我還記

得，你的眼神，語(yǔ)氣我還記得，而你，卻怎么就不在了呢？

高考。理科綜合結(jié)束走出考場(chǎng)，在門(mén)口碰到你。然后我們對(duì)了對(duì)答案，放心的發(fā)現(xiàn)最后

一道27分的物理題結(jié)果一樣，卻沒(méi)意識(shí)到已經(jīng)把周?chē)蝗涸诼?tīng)咱倆對(duì)答案的哥們嚇得目

瞪口呆。后來(lái)公布答案的報(bào)紙出來(lái)了，你給我打電話(huà)，問(wèn)我怎么樣。我說(shuō)我完了，你呢

？你說(shuō)你也完了，我說(shuō)我燒錯(cuò)繩子了，你說(shuō)一樣燒錯(cuò)了。兩聲苦笑，我說(shuō)咱倆還真是一

條船上的，你說(shuō)是啊難兄難弟，競(jìng)賽一起砸鍋，連繩子都一起燒錯(cuò)。損失了27分，你理

綜269,我理綜271，你675分最后去了科大，然后去了零零班。我674去了南大，然后稀

里糊涂的進(jìn)了一個(gè)什么生物理科基地班。

大學(xué)剛開(kāi)始后的幾個(gè)暑假寒假，你，我，JX，YYQ,還有HX，都會(huì)去世紀(jì)泰華樓下的KFC

小聚一下。隨便點(diǎn)些東西，拿著紅茶一次一次的續(xù)杯，一起吹牛聊天。大二是我在南大

墮落的一年，那時(shí)就連大學(xué)物理第二學(xué)期的論文都是你給我的。之后，更多關(guān)于你的消

息是從臭臭那里聽(tīng)到的。聽(tīng)說(shuō)你在大學(xué)的第一個(gè)中秋如何想家，聽(tīng)說(shuō)你在科大還是幾年

如一日的努力著奮斗著，聽(tīng)說(shuō)你每天除了睡覺(jué)在宿舍里待的時(shí)間決不超過(guò)15分鐘的“傳

奇”故事。后來(lái)，去了一次科大，你逃課陪我在科大的樹(shù)林里坐了一下午，聊了一下午

，然后送我上公車(chē)回南京。再后來(lái)，要申請(qǐng)了，快畢業(yè)了，聽(tīng)說(shuō)你拿了科大學(xué)生最高的

榮譽(yù)郭沫若獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金，又聽(tīng)說(shuō)你申請(qǐng)并不太順利，拿到了Columbia的offer，卻與那些超

級(jí)牛校失之交臂。走之前的那個(gè)暑假，你我JX又一起吃了頓飯，那時(shí)我們都躊躇滿(mǎn)志，

海闊天空的扯著，還開(kāi)玩笑說(shuō)你的offer最好這頓就你請(qǐng)吧。卻怎么也沒(méi)想到，這次見(jiàn)

面，竟成永別。

再后來(lái)，在香港，聽(tīng)說(shuō)你從哥大物理系轉(zhuǎn)到了統(tǒng)計(jì)系，幾個(gè)認(rèn)識(shí)你的朋友又一起由衷贊

嘆了一下老于可真是牛人，就等著看他畢業(yè)后殺進(jìn)華爾街吧?；蛟S你不知道，你在我們

口中，都是可以用來(lái)炫耀的山東人的代表。高大，帥氣，上進(jìn)，有毅力，夠牛，人緣好

，有夢(mèng)想，會(huì)生活，有前途，甚至開(kāi)玩笑說(shuō)連你的每個(gè)女朋友都是又牛又漂亮...前段

時(shí)間在facebook上聯(lián)系到了你，還問(wèn)你什么時(shí)候回家，還建議你暑假?gòu)南愀坜D(zhuǎn)機(jī)，還笑

說(shuō)照片里你nice belly?，F(xiàn)在再到你的space，到你的facebook上，看到一句句你寫(xiě)下

的話(huà)，一張張你的照片，這些本該是有趣親切的東西，給我的卻是物是人非的感覺(jué)。

老于啊，明輝啊，我是真TMD的想不明白了。這世界怎么會(huì)這么不公平，怎么會(huì)讓你收

獲這樣一個(gè)結(jié)局！看到好多人說(shuō) May you rest in peace.好多人寫(xiě)原你在天堂安息，我

覺(jué)得真不是個(gè)滋味。安息，這個(gè)詞怎么會(huì)和你扯在一起呢。我們都看著，你一直在不斷

的努力，一直在不斷的拼搏，一直在向著自己清晰的目標(biāo)踏踏實(shí)實(shí)的一步一步的前進(jìn)著

，你的路本應(yīng)該還長(zhǎng)，你才24歲，你還得繼續(xù)折騰啊！可是你怎么現(xiàn)在就停下了呢??！

！天妒英才??！如果可以，我真的想拒絕接受你就這樣離開(kāi)了我們了！

但愿，愿你只是去了另外一個(gè)世界。在那個(gè)世界里，你還能實(shí)現(xiàn)你的夢(mèng)想，你還能獲得

本該屬于你的成功和榮耀，你還能擁有你的精彩。
