一、結(jié)果狀語
1、名詞作結(jié)果狀語
She fell ten meters down therock. 她沿著那座巖石下落了十米。
He came back a changedperson. 他回來了，結(jié)果變了一個人。
2、形容詞作結(jié)果狀語
He pushed the door open.他把門推開了。
The dog rolled over dead.那條狗打了個滾就死了。
3、分詞短語作結(jié)果狀語
He hurried off, forgetting to take hisovercoat. 他急急忙忙地開了，結(jié)果忘了帶大衣。
He fell down, costing him hislead. 他跌了一跤，結(jié)果失去了領(lǐng)先的優(yōu)勢。
4、從句作結(jié)果狀語
引導結(jié)果狀語從句，我們常用連詞so, so that, such that,etc.例如：
He didn’t plan his time well, so (that)he didn’t finish the work in time. 他沒有把時間安排好，結(jié)果沒有及時完成任務(wù)。
We left in such a hurry that we forgotto lock the door. 我們走得很匆忙，結(jié)果望了鎖門。
We got up early so that we caught theearly bus. 我們起得很早，結(jié)果趕上了早班車。
二、比較狀語
1、介詞短語作比較狀語
The final score was three to fivein our favor. 最后的成績是：3：5，我們領(lǐng)先。
I felt so weak and useless besidethem. 與他們相比，我感到自己是那樣軟弱無能。
Against the US dollars,thevalue of pounds increased by 15%.與美元相比，英鎊的價值增加了15%。
2、分詞短語作比較狀語
Compared to many other women,shewas indeed very fortunate. 跟其他婦女相比，她的確很幸運。
3、從句作比較狀語
She runs as fast as he does.她跑得和他一樣快。
Who is poorer than the beggar?誰比那個乞丐更窮？
