1）besides是介詞，意為“除了……以外（還有）”，具有肯定和附加的涵義，即表示“在……之外，還另加……”，后接名詞、動詞-ing形式或代詞。如：
Besides English，he is good at French．除了英語以外，他的法語也很好。
2) except只作介詞，是“除……之外（不包括本身在內(nèi)）”的意思，有否定和排除的涵義，表示從整體中除去一部分。如：
We all succeed except him．除了他以外，我們都獲得了成功。
2）exceptfor 和except不同之處是：前者“除開”的部分和論述的部分通常不是同一類事物，而后者則為同一類事物。試比較：

3) apart from表示“除 …之外”。根據(jù)上、下文的不同，它既可用作besides, 也可用作 except和 exceptfor。例如:

除了他們以外，我沒有人說話。
Apartfrom other considerations, time is also a factor.(=besides）
除了別的考慮之外，時間也是一個因素。
(It is) Good workapart from a few slight faults. (= exceptfor)

4）exceptthat其后需加從句，用來表示理由或細(xì)節(jié)，修正前面所說的情況?？梢耘cexceptfor互換。
